BIOGRAPHY:
RICHARD SOAMES is an actor, writer, comedian and improviser. In 2015 he took his debut solo show to The Edinburgh Festival, where it received critical acclaim before transferring to London’s Kings Place Theatre. He also co-wrote and performed in The Foster’s Best Newcomer Award Nominated show The Story Beast which played a sell-out run at The Soho Theatre in January 2016. In 2016 he played Feste in Grassroots London’s production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at The Leicester Square Theatre.

Richard is one quarter of BBC Radio 4, Chortle-Award nominated sketch group The Beta Males. He also plays Lord Fear in Knightmare Live and commentates on the hit videogame comedy show McNeil and Pamphilon Go 8 Bit. He was trained in Chicago style long form improvisation by a Second City alumnus and is a UK cast member of the award-winning improv show Monkey Toast and guests with Austentatious and Grand Theft Impro.

His other acting credits include various roles on Radio 4's Sketchorama, the BBC3 short Made for Each Other and Forget Me Not, an award-winning short film which received its UK premiere at the London Comedy Film Festival.
