The Ginge, the Geordie and the Geek
KEVIN O'LOUGHLIN
Representing Agent: Vic Murray
Height: 6'2
Hair Colour: Dark Brown
Eye Colour: Hazel
Roles: Actor, Comedian, Writer
BIOGRAPHY:
Kevin is a fantastic Scottish actor from Glasgow with bases in both London and Glasgow. He trained at RSAMD and during his training he played some brilliant theatrical roles such as the title role in Richard III, Yepikhodov in The Cherry Orchard and Tiresias in Oedipus.

Since graduating he has had many successful years performing both in straight roles, such as in the critically acclaimed By The Way at The Pleasance, and with his comedy sketch group THE GINGE, THE GEORDIE AND THE GEEK. Previously Kevin has played a stammering policeman in Car Thieves by Che Walker for Birmingham Rep and has also performed at the Glasgow Comedy Festival in The Write Brothers sketch show (part of the writing team behind BBC's Chewing the Fat).

His first appearance on screen was as Sammy in River City but more recently he has played roles in Taggart and Sirens. He has also appeared alongside Simon Pegg in the film Run Fat Boy Run directed by David Schwimmer.

Kevin is one third of hit sketch collective THE GINGE, THE GEORDIE AND THE GEEK who took the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by storm for several years before having a pilot commissioned by the BBC. They have since recorded their own series which went out in 2013 and received great reviews.

Praise for The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek:

Explosive chemistry and are genuinely funny
-Big Issue ****

Their talent was uniformly superb and comedic timing exceptional. It’s very rare for a show of this nature to receive applause and laughs at every joke, but that’s exactly what happened. The ending of the show was nothing short of hilarious and refreshingly original.
-Fringe Review *****

The trio fly relentlessly through scene after scene of organised madness, making the 1 hour show seem very short indeed.
-Edinburgh Festival Magazine ****

The pace is relentless, laugh-out-loud moments the rule, and so well rehearsed a beat is never skipped
-The Herold *****

Who knew that a Ginge, a Geordie and a Geek constitute the perfect recipe for totally brilliant, unrelenting hilarity?
